What I Learned day 7 (Last day)

This experience was challenging for me. I thought it would be easy to ensure that I take 5 to 30 minutes every day to do something for me. What I realized was I didn’t know myself as much as I thought. The ideas went out, laziness overtook, youtube drew me in. Many obstacles, but I tried, and here’s what I learned.

Journaling is relieving. It’s such a great exercise if you feel so full of thoughts and worries to let them out and also calm your mind. Definitely doing it more frequently when I feel that way.

Dancing, doing sports. I’m in the learning process that I want to feel healthy, not skinny. It’s easier to say than to think, but dancing to music that moves me takes me instantly to a parallel universe.

Many five-minute self-care traits I did was drinking Teekanne’s teas like caramel apple pie or the other different sweet teas. A great alternative if you want something sweet.

Putting a cherry kit cushion on my neck to lower the tension, such relaxation.

I’m not a hot bath girl, for doing an all-around shaving yes, but not for more than 20 minutes. And that’s not worth it, I think. Though I love candles.

Watching a great romantic comedy when I feel down and the red lady visited me.

Not playing Lol when I want some time for myself.

Listening to my audiobook while cleaning is such a self-care in two ways, a clean house and listening to fun things.

Going outside for a walk, especially with my loved one, so we can talk with undivided attention. Love it. Also, when it has rained and you breathe this fresh air.

Turning off my phone. I hate this feeling when I look multiple times at my phone just in case if something new happens. It exhausts me and I thought when you wanna reach me then you call me, and turned all my notifications down, placed it into the office of my spouse. Of course, sometimes I hushed in there to look if someone wrote to me, but it was way less then before.

Talking to someone about my feelings, especially when I feel down to tell them why I feel that way and maybe to do something against it.

I am not a fan of social distancing. I’m an introvert I don’t like crowds, I avoid talking to strange people, but I realized I need someone to talk to.
